The Story Behind Mamooniya

The name Mamooniya has a special meaning for our family. It comes from our beloved grandmother, Chandra. The name is inspired by “Ma” and “Moon”, representing the warmth, love and presence of a grandmother who holds a special place in the family. For us, Mamooniya is more than just a business name. It is a reminder of family, love, care and the values passed down from one generation to another. As we build this business, we want to carry those values forward treating our customers with the same sense of honesty, care and respect that we value within our family.

Our Brand – NAMASTASYAI

NAMASTASYAI is our brand name, inspired by a sanskrit expression associated with reverence and devotion to the divine feminine. The expression "Namastasyai" can be understood as:

“Salutations to Her”
or
“I bow to Her.”
             It is traditionally associated with devotional Sanskrit verses referring to the divine feminine or Goddess.The well-known expression:

 “Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah” means:“Salutations to Her again and again.”

For us, NAMASTASYAI represents:
Reverence • Respect • Devotion • Gratitude • Honoring the Divine Feminine
